Mr. Rags: Function Switch Short Guide:
The function switch is a small peg that sticks out of the top of the keyer near the LEDs. It can be activated by moving it in almost any direction, including simply pressing it down.
When you hold the switch in any engaged position you will hear a series of quick beeps in your headphones and/or an attached speaker. For the purposes of this guide we will simply refer to then number of beeps you hear before releasing the switch to execute a specific function.
Mr. Rags has been programmed so that you will only need to use one or two beeps to do most of what you will want to do during a QSO. And once you are into one of the set up menus you will also only need a few beeps.
What follows is what various numbers of beeps will do depending on what Mr. Rags thinks you are trying to do.
1 Beep CQ Mode Sends: CQ CQ CQ DE <myCall> <myCall> K
1 Beep Event CQ Mode Sends Soft Macro #0 (your event CQ text)
1 Beep Pile-Up Mode Sends <myCall>
1 Beep Tuning Mode stops transmition
1 Beep QSO Mode Sends: <hisCall> DE <myCall>
1 Beep While sending Macro Aborts sending Macro
1 Beep While sending Token Sends the Token again after completing it the first time
(hold switch longer to abort macro while sending Token)

This deviates from the rule described below].
More Beeps While on Most Menus To close a menu and back up to the previous menu
